Lighthouse Presents- 3 O'clock Plaza Mix- Aug. 2012

As the summer chugs along, my thoughts turn to going Home at the end of August. In case you don't know about me, I've been incredibly blessed by all the great friends and experiences from the Burning Man community. I've learned so much about myself and the power of art from this dusty festival in the unforgiving playa of Black Rock City. More importantly, within Black Rock City I've made my home in its 3 O'clock plaza for the past 4 years. Many of my fondest and most personal memories occurred in that section of an overall wonderful city. For me, its where the heart of my home is and it only gets better. This year, I am super fortunate to be part in a brand new theme camp at 3 O'clock plaza- the Nacho Friends.

To me, this mix is all about the daytime spirit of Burning Man. It's a cold glass of smooth lemonade as the party people boogie under the summer sun. I'm thoroughly excited to be dropping sunset beats in my little part of the neighborhood for all those beautiful residents of Black Rock City. If you happen to be headed out to the Nevada desert at the end of the month and are reading this, don't hesitate to head on down to Nacho Friends, grab some of our tasty nachos, and dance your ass off at our temple of groove.

But Burner or no Burner, anyone is sure to enjoy this soulful hour of good vibes.
